School Education
JMC College International is a registered and approved School to conduct teaching programmes from Grade 1 to GCE A/L. We teach local syllabus in English medium.
In addition to the prescribed school academic activities, we also provide our students a set of extra-curricular activities in sports, drama and music etc. We also make attempts to teach children their religion to provide a base for personality development towards good behaviour and discipline. We teach 4 languages. Eg - English, French, Sinhala & Tamil with a view to improve communication skills We groom our students to produce excellent results both at G.C.E. O/L and G.C.E. A/L along with fluency in the English language. After leaving the school they could find employment both in the private and public sector organizations. Most of them now hold high positions and are found to be productive in their respective fields. We also have a large number of past students presently engaged in higher education in Sri Lanka, Overseas Universities and other Professional Educational Institutes. Eg. - Ms. Sara Casseer a Student of JMC College International, Dematagoda won the First Place in Business Communication (English) in the AAT Final Examination of 2009 June
